Parenting Workshops

Parent Workshops aim to support and strengthen existing parenting abilities and promote the development of new competencies so that parents have the knowledge and skills needed to carry out child-rearing responsibilities and provide their children with experiences and opportunities that promote child learning and development.

Play n' Learn Family Events

The Play ‘n Learn program is designed to meet the specific developmental needs of young children ages 0-6. Our variety of activities provide opportunity for young children and their caregivers to enjoy one another’s company while participating in a combination of informal playgroups and structured learning opportunities. These events are intended to be educational for both children and caregivers.

Community Events

While we provide many opportunities for family engagement, we know there are SEVERAL opportunities out there. This is one of the ways we want to help connect you to the community and the resources available out there. If you see something missing or are curious about a community event that has happened in the past, contact us and we will see what we can find out. Enjoy!

Circle of Security-Parenting

Circle of Security-Parenting is  a curriculum that focuses on attachment, or relationship, between a child and parent. Here is a brief description of what we will be learning, which can be found at the following website

  • "Understand your child's emotional world by learning to read emotional needs

  • Support your child's ability to successfully manage emotions

  • Enhance the development of your child's self-esteem

  • Honor the innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure"

Click the "Additional Info" button for more details on the class schedule and how to register! We are currently in the middle of a cycle, but have posted dates for our next cycle.

This tool was developed by Rachel Wagner of the Devereux Center for Resilient Children for children ages 3-8. It takes 4 simple steps to help you (the caregiver) remain consistent and support your child while their behaviors are challenging you. Remembering the mnemonic FLIP, you can remain cool, calm, and collected as you approach a challenging situation with your child.

Click the "Additional Info" button for more information on how to register.

Learning about intrinsic motivation versus extrinsic motivation and how to help your little one grow and learn without wanting to pull your hair out.

Participants will receive a FREE copy of the book to keep in your home library forever. Contact us @ to receive yours.
